Ingredients
(A)
1 cup warm milk
1/3 cup sugar
5 tbsp melted butter
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
(B)
1 packet active dry yeast
4 1/2 all-purpose flour
2 tbsp brown sugar
Combine warm milk, sugar, eggs, melted butter and salt in the bowl. Beat on low speed for 2 minutes. Combine yeast and flour in the other bowl. Mix the ingredients (A) into the ingredients (B).
Knead for 3 to 5 minutes, or until the dough is smooth and elastic. Let the dough rise in a warm place for hour. Punch dough down and take half of the dough and divide it into 12 pieces. Cut each of this pieces in 3 (36 pieces). On a lightly floured surface, roll each piece into a 6 inch. long rope and tie into a loose knot. Place knotted rolls about 2 inches apart on greased baking sheets. Make 36 rolls and let rise until double about 30 minutes.
Brush with melted butter on the rolls and sprinkle brown sugar on top. Bake in the preheated 180 degree C for 15 minutes or until light browned. Let cool on wire rack and serve warm with butter.
